Magnetic Sign Care and Use Guide
Preparation: Prepare the surface of the vehicle and the black side of the magnetic sign by cleaning, drying and waxing before apply your car magnets.
Installation: The magnetic sign should have 100% full contact with a flat steel surface. Make contact with one edge first and gently let the full sign rest on the metal surface, removing all air pockets. For re-alignment, remove the full sign and start over. The magnetic sign should be at room temperature when applied to a steel surface. The temperature of the surface of the vehicle is unimportant; however the sign itself should be at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit for installation. Do not apply magnetic over molding, nuts, bolts, pin stripping, air vents, or rivets. Do not apply magnetic over newly painted surfaces (allow at least 3 months for paint to cure). Magnetic signs will not stay over patched surfaces. Do not use over simulated wood finishes (veneer finishes on vehicles).
Maintenance: Remove magnets at least once a week, then wash and clean both the magnetic & the surface of the vehicle. Allow both the sign and vehicle to dry completely. Use a mild detergent in warm water to clean the vinyl surface of the sign. On rainy or humid days remove the magnetic signs. Keep a good coat of wax on the steel surface. Do not lay magnetic signs on pavement or concrete, as debris may adhere to surface, causing potential damage to your vehicle.
Storage: For best results, store magnetic pieces flat or in rolls. When storing in rolls, wrap so the sign face is on the outside to avoid the possibility of wrinkles. Make sure the inside diameter of the rolls is no less than 4”.

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly ... it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated. — Thomas Paine
